This morning an excellent, and much needed, thunderstorm rolled through Indy.
It was the kind of storm that lit up the sky, rocked the house, had me dreaming* that it was storming before I woke up and sent the kids scurrying into our bedroom.
By the time the second wave hit later in the morning we had an inch of rain at the house, and due to the extremely dry conditions, the garden loved it.
Another round is posed to hit early Friday morning too, so I say bring it on in order to ensure that we don’t have a burn ban this fall.
* That I was on some sort of massive metal bleaches in Broad Ripple, trying to get out of them.
