For argument’s sake because I don’t feel like going there tonight, let’s just assume that the CDC’s data on COVID-19 related deaths are even remotely accurate.
Then we can ask ourselves why in the world the media, government, and hospitals are so insistent on our children getting a vaccine and wearing a mask (that’s a different conversation too).
Literally, in America, we’re looking at 349 children who, according to the CDC, have died from COVID-19. 349 out of the ENTIRE COUNTRY!
Yes, I’ve heard the arguments. And I’m not buying any of it.
Yes, I realize that losing a child is horrible. I’ve buried two of my own children. It sucks. Unless you’ve been there, you have no idea how much it sucks.
And any loss of life isn’t a good thing.
But goodnight, people. Use your heads.
If you’re at risk or your child is at risk, you know what to do. You don’t need me or anyone else telling you what to do.
In general, the children DO NOT need to be masked (again, I’m not going there tonight).
Schools don’t need to be disrupting the entire learning process by throwing our children into 2-week quarantines for “close contact”. (Yes, we’ve been a victim of that scam. Even after negative test results.)
To be blunt, if you’re that worried about it, I respect your decision, and I suppose you can go back into hiding if you wish. Possibly forever because it sounds like it is here to stay, much like the flu and colds. But the rest of the world keeps on turning and we cannot afford to do that as a whole. I’m not going with you and you shouldn’t expect everyone else to either.
I’m turning comments off for this post. I don’t have the time or desire to field rebuttals of nonsense. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves and put me on another list.
