Starting Over

I’m starting over.

For those of you who don’t know already, for the past few years I’ve been pouring my personal writing, editing, podcasting, etc. into an amazing news site called Naptown Buzz.  But as amazing as it is, there are times as an editor where I have to step back and refrain from saying and/or posting certain things because it just doesn’t fit the topic.  People come to the site for news about Indianapolis, not just any random thought that pops into Brian’s head (though they do get that side on Twitter frequently).

So I’m starting over, starting with this website and my personal blog(s).

First things first, the archives on this site made my head hurt trying to sort them.  Over eight years I had over 1,800 posts, many of recent years just pulling in posts from the various places I’ve been posting things to.  Sure, that’s super to keep tabs on everything, but it’s not very useful.  So I’ve pulled every last one of them down and placed all of the old posts at archive.briangroce.com in case someone actually wants to read them.

In addition to that, you will see some new changes being rolled out to our various Surge Bucket Media properties in 2013.  The biggest ones being the launch of a new international news website, and fresh launches of some old websites and ideas I’ve been sitting on for a while.  Bottom line, 2013 is going to be HUGE, so keep your eyes and ears open and join me on the journey as I start over.
