Winter 2014: A Weather Forecasters’ Nightmare
Around 4 am I received a weather alert to expect 1-2 inches of snow north of I-70. I'm south of I-70, so I'm not really concerned about it. Then around 10 am another alert comes through. It say to expect 2-3 inches of snow in Indy, possibly up to 4 inches, and that it would begin to fall in the afternoon through early evening. The kids are quite bummed that Halloween has been postponed (which equates to being canceled in their minds), but do you really want to go out in this?
